In 2019 we got a random call from a Belgium number. The question if we wanted to come look at a Beautifull Midnight blue 965 with a x88 factory package. Ofcourse we want to do that! The conversation soon became a partial rebuild of front and rear suspension, brakes, turbo, exhaust parts, wheels and various engine parts all back to OEM spec.
After this rebuild the client drove the X88 car for a while and sold the car soon after. He got in touch with us soon after selling the Midnight blue X88 to ask if we wanted to do a similar thing to his personal Black, black black 965 (Bad Boys, bad boys) Turbo nicknamed Vitamientje. He quite liked the engine upgrade on the midnight blue X88 and asked us to build him a similar engine but keep the original ignition etc. because of regulations in Belgium.
We started the rebuild by tearing down the complete engine and getting everything ready for vaporblasting. The cases, heads, etc. were all redone and improved where possible to make the engine breath better, improve reliability and handle the extra power.
While we did the engine the plan came to do a full suspension rebuild/upgrade (with what was possible in the regulations). We did a special color coating in a black silk Ceracoat and gold theme for the whole suspension. For struts we choose a Homologated B16 Billstein set.
